I just watched Brittany and Zane’s wedding film from start to finish. You’d think after staring at their wedding for hours in the editing cave, I would be done taking the day in but no… I missed these two people! I missed their Bermuda accents and big BIG B I G smiles. I missed seeing what sweet parents they are to their little girls. I missed watching how easy and comfortable they are with one another. I missed it all.
Brittany and Zane live in Bermuda and wanted to have a destination wedding way up here in New England, specifically in Vermont at the Mountaintop Inn and Resort, where they often vacation AND where they got engaged. It was SUCH a perfect Vermont fall day, that the travel was well worth it. So many people came all that way to see them get married. It was a testament to how loved they are by their family, friends, and community.
One of my favorite parts of being their wedding photographer alongside Dan, was not how insanely gorgeous the day was or how fun the party was. It was being with them. It was how warm and inviting the both of them are. We were welcomed into the fold immediately and trusted implicitly. It felt like we were friends, right off the bat. If we ever do make it to Bermuda… get ready because we are barging in and making you our besties. Ok? Good.
