I’ve started and stopped and re-written the blog post too many times. I don’t even know what to say though!!
Can, “WE LOVE THESE GUYS,” be a sufficient blog post for you? Can it?
Probably not. I know.
When I think back on our life as a couple and all our friends, I can honestly say that never have we become so close so quickly to anyone. We met them at Becky and Matt’s wedding, just as we were packing our bags to go home. Becky dragged us back to the tent because she said we just HAD to meet these guys. She was so so so right. Ever since then, we’ve barely gone 7 days without hanging out if we were all in town. Survivor Parties, Book Club, Snow Days… you name it. Therefore, you can imagine how big a deal it was for us to be alongside them on their wedding day. Photographing friends ain’t no joke yall. Its so hard and we did it twice in two weeks (Remember Gretchen and Kaleigh?)!
These guys got ready in their apartment (on our same street) and then we all headed to Union. They wanted to share a couple cocktails together before the ceremony. Classy guys. We strolled around in the Old Port for a little while too, to take a few portraits of them. Then it was “Make it Legal” time! We met their families at the Portland City Hall and all headed upstairs to the City Clerk for the wedding. I’ll never get over how FAST a city hall wedding is. I swear the ceremony barely lasts one minute. You spend eight years dating and then in a flash you are married.
All our love to these two and congrats a thousand times.
