It’s not possible sum up this day for you guys without first telling you about our connection to John and Michael. Back in 2011, Dan and I moved to Boston. John was to be my boss and he was one of the first people I met. Instead of getting right down to business, John took the time to acquaint me with the city, show me important places and teach me how to order a coffee really fast at Dunkin’s so the people behind me wouldn’t get aggravated with my southern slowness. He even invited me over to his house to meet his dog Logan. The day I met Logan, I immediately decided that we had to get a dog ourselves… and so now we have Hattie, Logan’s half-sister. Boom! We brought Michael and Dan into our friendship soon after that and we will forever be connected to them in a very special way since they are Hattie’s uncles! You may even remember them from THIS session way back when.
Ok theres the back story. Here’s the wedding day:
We met the guys at the Kendall Hotel, where they got ready together. After a toast they headed to the Cambridge Skating Club, for an intimate dinner with family and close friends. Here they had more toasts and drinks and we took them outside for a few portraits along the Charles. After dinner, we all headed over to ANOTHER skating rink:Â Community Ice Skating at Kendall Square! At the rink more and more of the couples friends arrived to witness the wedding, on the ice. Cupcakes, Tulips, and Yummy Drinks made the evening feel even more beautiful. Who doesn’t want to Ice Skate at a wedding??
