It’s been about a million years since we blogged, due to a big fat move up to Boston, MA from Kitty Hawk, NC! Things are starting to settle down and our office is coming together enough that we could dig in to some images from our recent D.I.Y. project with our family.
Samuel Cox, Dan’s brother, was kind enough to give us his afternoon and let us into his workroom in order to letter press our sexy new business cards. I felt pretty honored since this workroom is the birthplace of Physical Fiction, which you should definitely check out. It took 5 people, 5 hours to letterpress a ream of paper that is now cut into over 1,000 business cards! It was ridiculously tedious and tiring BUT we are so so so very proud of the finished product. I feel a sense of pride handing one of these bad boys over to a inquiring soul. Thick yummy Crane letterpress paper with gorgeous hand mixed aqua print… amazing to see. I never knew that a buisness card could be so joy-inducing for myself. I love them.
Thanks to our Cox clan, including David, Stephen, Sam and ourselves, it was a fun, slightly crazy, tiring endeavor that created a nice handy little information delivering tool: Our business card!
