Hello November. Hello 30. Hello the rest of our life!
Dan and I are currently staying with friends in Portland, tying up loose ends and making all the legal and business changes we need to make to officially transition from Massachusetts to Maine. All our earthly possessions are in a storage unit. We have two weddings this week, and a 14 hours drive to the Outer Banks of NC. Three weeks later we will photograph a wedding in Puerto Rico… and then we are off to Hawaii until the Spring. It’s still hard to believe its all happening.
After a dream that started on a kayak tour in Duck, NC way back in 2004, we have finally achieved three of our biggest goals to date.
We are Maine residents.
We are both full-time wedding photographers.
We have a seasonal business that allows us to adventure in the wintertime.
And I have to remind myself, even here, that all the above statements are reality.
We cannot wait to share all the details and all the photos from the sessions and weddings we photographed this past month, squeezing them all in before we left for the winter. After what has been the hardest year of my life personally, I have to believe that it has all been leading up to this mark and we seriously couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who has supported us to this point. We know it’s not world changing or earth shattering, but for us, this means more than you know.
