Happy Fall you guys!!! Its been a hot summer up here in Maine so it really REALLY feels good to put on the slippers and snuggle down.
Im about a month behind on these lists so today is an update on our August, and at the beginning of next month I will fill you in on what happened in September. We should be all caught up from now on since wedding season is slowing down… slowly.
In August, we photographed SIX weddings. The weekends were full of travel and our weeks were filled with editing and long breaks to recuperate.
We went on a little hike and saw our first fall leaves.
We bought a HUGE mural that hung in Portland all summer. It came down because the construction was finished but… we wanted it. I reached out to Inge and now it lives in our storage unit, awaiting its forever home, just like us. Its 12ft tall friends.
It was so hot some days that we would just go one drives and shop because we couldn’t stand to be in our non-air-conditioned apartment. Hattie took naps on a cold pack and we took her to Home Depot occasionally since she’s welcome there. Yay for AC.
One of our date nights, we headed to a really nice restaurant in downtown. One of those ones where they clear your crumbs from the white tablecloths. We enjoyed it and even realized that our favorite parts were the cheeseboard and the dessert, both of which are actually pretty reasonably priced. Looks like a cheese and dessert date is in our future!
