Boise Idaho Wedding

You met these guys last week for their engagement session but today you get to see their sweet wedding. Dan has been a friend of the groom since college and they are really close. It was a huge honor to be able to see them get married, especially since it was a wedding with only 10 people in attendance. Yeah. It was a little one. You’ll even see Dan make an appearance in this post.

They have only been dating since November and they just knew it was forever. I adore stories like that and I am completely on board with it. When you know, you know. They are crazy in love and its a joy to be in the presence of.

Exeter NH Wedding: Reynolds and Bryant

Wanna talk about a wild planning process? Well look no further than this couple. Reynolds and Bryant contacted us with a lovely plan in place to have their wedding at a NH Brewery. With everything booked and in place, the Brewery closed! They reached out to us with a new plan, a nearby Farm and Apple Orchard. Booked with the same date, everything was all set again. THEN… things had to change again, and the booked the country club ballroom that Reynolds sister had her wedding in. I literally cannot imagine the stress these two went through with that roller coaster of planning adventures. They had their hearts focused on the right thing though… each other.

The wedding day was seamless. You would never think all that went down in the planning process. The weather was absolutely ideal. The whole thing went off without a hitch. They were wrapped up in love with each other and everyone else was adoring of them. What more could you ask for on a wedding day really?

Also, take note of Reynolds dress. It was worn by many women in her family for generations. How cool is that??

Portsmouth, New Hampshire Wedding: Monica and Daniel

Monica and Daniel’s Portsmouth NH wedding was on a hot hot day in June. They found that absolute cutest little chapel on the sea to marry each other, with precious little flower girls and a Scottish Quaich Ceremony (google it). There were tons of laughs all day long. You’ll see how happy Dan makes Monica in the photos… she was absolutely over the moon all day.

After the ceremony, there was an intimate reception at a local restaurant, with sweet speeches and delicious food and drink. We stole away for a little while to photograph them in the park. It was just such an easy going relaxed and romantic day. A good day to be a wedding photographer, that’s for sure.

Middletown CT Wedding: Erin and Tommy

Erin and Tommy. Where do I even start? We have known Erin’s family since almost the beginning of our wedding photography career since we photographed her sister Lyndsey’s wedding back in 2012. Sometimes clients definitely move into a special place in our lives and these sisters are some of those special ones. Tommy is a new friend to us and we are so so happy Erin has snagged him as her husband.

Tommy got ready in a family home and Erin in a nearby hotel. We all piled in a party bus and headed to the church for the Catholic ceremony, rich with Polish elements since “Tommy” is actually Tomasz. After the receiving line, we headed to the reception. When I saw the light strings all along the walls and draping the dancefloor I was stoked! There were lovely Polish traditions along with Polish music to keep that heritage strong. Being able to photograph new and different things to us, is always an exciting part of weddings. It was one of those nights that we really wanted to stay late into the party but after all that dancing and photographing we were spent.

Portsmouth New Hampshire Wedding: Monika and Paul

The first thing you’ll notice about Monika is her electric smile. She literally BEAMED all day on her wedding day and that joy was contagious. Paul  was the most gracious host, welcoming everyone and being a generally warm person. It was good too since Dan and I were meeting them for the first time on this day! Thankfully they put us both at ease within moments, which set the tone for the day. I loved that Monica wore a cathedral veil, which you’ll see we had a lot of fun with, from fluffing it while also photographing it as she walked down the aisle (you’ll see) to lots and lots of under the viel snuggle photos.

After the ceremony and portraits, we headed to the Portsmouth Harbor Events ballroom and the party started! I had two favorite moments of the night. The first was when Monica and her father skipped the father-daughter dance in exchange for a father-daughter duet! They sang together for all of us and it was such a fun twist. My other favorite moment was when all the groomsmen came onto the dance floor and ripped off their dress shirts, revealing “Saturday’s are for the Boys” tanktops, which they rocked for the remainder of the night. So funny. The dance party was rockin as well, which is always a favorite of ours.
