Acadia National Park Elopement: Ryan and Devin

Theres always… ALWAYS something magic about Acadia, and when you add a freaking wedding to the mix, its downright perfection. I honestly dont know how Acadia and Elopements never get old for me but the God’s honest truth is that I love it. I ADORE Acadia Elopements. There. Its been said.

Ryan and Devin stole my heart a little with their general easy-going vibe. I was also partial to her bold lipstick choice and the never-ending smiles these two humans brought to the party. Pair that with one of our absolute favorite officiants, Erika, and you have a wedding that makes my heart sing. Enjoy yall…

Acadia Engagement Session: Kelley and Zach

You know those couples who just seem to really enjoy each others company? Well we got that vibe big time when we spent a couple hours with them in Acadia last fall. They just kept laughing and making jokes, and having an all around good time, even in the midst of having their photo taken, which is a notoriously weird feeling. When we have a session like this, it always gets me excited and more comfortable with the idea of photographing a couples wedding. I just love having that in-person confirmation that these people are cool people and that we are going to have a good time on the wedding day. Kelly and Zach… I know its been a while, and we have a while to go BUT we are stoked to be there with you when the day arrives.

Portland Maine Elopement: Michael and Yvette

Romance Romance ROMANCE yall. When I think back to Michael and Yvette’s City Hall Elopement, something about it always reminds me of a classic black and white romance film. Their styling. The City Hall location. The way they interacted the whole day. It just had that feeling you know?

We met them at the Press Hotel and then walked over to City Hall. Then, as always, the ceremony was SO FREAKIN FAST. Those city hall weddings you guys. Instant. Next, we headed over to one of our favorite spots to photograph, where they said their vows to one another. I like that they made space and time for those vows since things at City Hall tend to feel rushed. It reminded me of Dan and I and our 10 year anniversary on a cliffside in Ireland.

Portsmouth Backyard Wedding: Kathryn and Fede

I love how Kathryn and Fede changed their plans within the pandemic and still had a dream day. They slashed the guest list, made space for social distancing if needed, had lots of covid-tests (back when it was pretty hard to get one) and they had the wedding they planned! It was always going to be in her parent’s backyard, and it still was.

This was a gorgeous one yall. Enjoy.

Us Working 2020

Lord have mercy it was a weird one. That being said, I’m so grateful that we were ABLE to get out there and work this past year. We had dream clients and dream locations so… it was its own version of dreamy eh?

Come along for some laughs.
