Meghan and Devin’s Boston MA Wedding

It was our first wedding of the season and we could not imagine a better way to start things off. Classic. Elegant. Simple. Small. Classy. All great things.

Meghan and Devin were married at the Central Bistro in downtown crossing in Boston. They got ready at the Nine Zero Hotel nearby, choosing to have their first look there. The ceremony was so heartfelt, with a poem by her sister, and sweet stories shared that left most all of us in happy tears. One of my favorite moments of the night was the couples first dance. The song, “Angels” by The XX was a incredible choice paired with their choreographed and elegant dance, complete with a deep dip at the end. It was a great picture for me of who these two are as a couple, besides what I knew up to that point leading up to this day. At the end of the night, we headed out into the street for some night portraits. I loved the colors outside and especially the happiness that the sight of Meghan and Devin gave to passerbyers. Who doesnt love a Bride and Groom? I know I do!

Every year we go through and choose our favorite couple shot from every wedding we we there to photograph that year. I loved looking through every wedding again and seeing how different each and every one of our couples this year were! We get to work with such a wide variety of people, and our weekends are always so unique. Some couples have big personalities, some are reserved, some are wild, some are private, some are hilarious, some are confident, some are sweet, some are quirky. The best part is that they all found their match and it works.  Have a fun trip down memory lane with us and see just how many different takes you can have on a wedding day with just this one shot from each.Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0001 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0002 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0003 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0004 View More: http://bethanydan.pass.us/lisaannandjordan View More: http://bethanydan.pass.us/amberandcolin View More: http://bethany-dan.pass.us/emilyandjason View More: http://bethany-dan.pass.us/veeandmike View More: http://bethanydan.pass.us/kateandmichael View More: http://bethany-dan.pass.us/andreaandmike Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0011 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0014 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0015 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0016 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0017 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0012 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0018 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0019 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0020 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0028Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0013 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0021 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0023 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0024 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0025 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0022 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0026 Best of 2014 Weddings Blog Post 0027

Lindsay and Cody’s Portsmouth New Hampshire Wedding

Talk about two people who are meant for one another….

Cody is crazy about Lindsay and Lindsay is crazy about Cody. They are simply two puzzle pieces that must be connected, making each other make sense and holding on to each other as they face the future, present and past. Its a remarkable thing to see and we loved being there as their photographers, able to photograph that dynamic as best as we could. To get a TINY idea of how much they love each other, just scroll down and look at Cody’s reaction as Lindsay walked down the aisle to become his wife. #icantevendealwithit

It was a really REALLY rainy day in the Portsmouth/Dover area of New Hampshire this Saturday but they were both just 100% jazzed to be getting married. I really can’t remember ever hearing either of them say anything about being bummed out about it. All I heard was “Im so happy we are finally getting married,” and “I’ve waited for this day forever.” No joke. It was actually pretty perfect.

My favorite part of the day besides the palatable love, was during the best man speech. He referred to Lindsay as the “Fist Lady of their crew.” Well said.

Then we partied…

Amanda and Ian’s Sugarbush Vermont Wedding

I loved every single thing about this wedding. It was SO pretty!!! Two people who are both so kind and welcoming had a classy and classic destination wedding in the mountains of Vermont. Hailing from NYC, they brought their favorite people with them to this gorgeous setting. We were so glad to be there too!

The ladies took a very un-rushed and casual approach to the day, getting ready, dancing, laughing, and cheer-sing the morning away. I can’t speak for the guys but I know it felt like a sleepover/slumber party in the ladies getting ready area. When we were ready to go we headed to the church and Amanda walked straight down the aisle in a matter of moments. Ian was waiting right there with his cute smile on his face. There was a collective gasp when she walked in… I mean… LOOK at her, and that DRESS!!! They even had a Bishop there to help in the ceremony, her great uncle Monseor Juan Antonio Flores (who sadly passed away mere days after the wedding).

After the ceremony, we headed into the Vermont wilds to take family photos, bridal party photos, and photos of just the two of them. It was calm and quiet and just the way we like to do it. No distractions, just us, them, and a gorgeous backdrop, (I know that makes every photographer jealous, myself included). Once we had the images that we loved, we all headed back to Sugarbush for a party of dancing dancing dancing!!

Christina and Chris’s Fruitlands Museum Wedding

One of the most highly anticipated events of the year!!! Im not kidding either. When I say anticipated I mean they contacted and booked us in August of 2013 and shot their NYC engagement session the next month! I have yet to meet a more organized plan-ahead get things done bride than the new Mrs. Zimbelman. Every single detail was planned out LONG in advance and these two were calm as cucumbers on their wedding day because of it! They were also so so SO fun,  with enthusiasm for our work from the very beginning, Christina knew how to make me feel special, which really was above and beyond anything a client ever needs to do. She cheered when I got there and immediately put ME at ease. Now how is THAT for a bride?

It was absolutely without a doubt a perfect day for their wedding. Everything was built around the view at the ceremony and it was the best time of year and weather for it! I mean just LOOK at how beautiful it was. We had 2 separate times in the day to photograph them both before and after the ceremony which was awesome! The reception had so much good food: sliders and popcorn included. When the buses came to take everyone to the after party at the end of the night we could barely believe that it had all happened, just as they planned, beautifully, and FUN!Christina and Chris Wedding 0016 Christina and Chris Wedding 0090 Christina and Chris Wedding 0100 Christina and Chris Wedding 0130 Christina and Chris Wedding 0135Christina and Chris Wedding 0164 Christina and Chris Wedding 0177 Christina and Chris Wedding 0184 Christina and Chris Wedding 0200 Christina and Chris Wedding 0210Christina and Chris Wedding 0297 Christina and Chris Wedding 0338 Christina and Chris Wedding 0357 Christina and Chris Wedding 0366 Christina and Chris Wedding 0405Christina and Chris Wedding 0414 Christina and Chris Wedding 0430 Christina and Chris Wedding 0476 Christina and Chris Wedding 0601 Christina and Chris Wedding 0612Christina and Chris Wedding 0774 Christina and Chris Wedding 0902 Christina and Chris Wedding 0952 Christina and Chris Wedding 1048Christina and Chris Wedding 1058Christina and Chris Wedding 1182Christina and Chris Wedding 1217Christina and Chris Wedding 1007
