The weather in NC had been unseasonably cold for a few days leading up to Chris and Katy’s UNC engagement session and we were getting nervous. The stars aligned however, and it was a nice winter’s day just in time for their session. We were all relieved! Katy and I, (Bethany) hit it off well, discovering that we were both High School Marching Band Geeks! Dan and Chris could talk about boating for hours, since they are both really into all things boats. It was a match! Chris was on the UNC Chapel Hill Men’s Crew team, so we got a backstage pass to the boathouse for their session. We were overwhelmed with how cool it was. Put Dan and Bethany anywhere near water and boats and we will go crazy with photos for you. It’s a guarantee. Chris and Katy, we really really enjoyed getting to know you both a little more and we absolutely can’t wait for your wedding in August!

I might start sounding like a broken record, but these photographs are AMAZING 🙂 Bethany & Dan, your ability to capture moments and turn them into art is making LEAPS and BOUNDS!! I LOVE that Chapel Hill was the location, you grabbed it’s and this lovely young couple’s essence 🙂
