Karina and Christian’s Puerto Rico Wedding

It is hard to describe Karina and Christian’s wedding day without sounding like I’m exaggerating, but honestly it was completely unforgettable. Mix together eclectically decorated getting ready apartment in the heart of Old San Juan, stylish details from the beginning to the end at the reception, creative music, actual skilled latin dancing, an open air hacienda called the La Hacienda Siesta Alegre in the rain forest, bridal party fun at El Morro, a wedding dress that included feathers…. I mean honestly. What could be more fun?

Karina and Christian have a beautiful story and their faith in Christ is at the center of it. It is always good to see what a relationship built within Christ looks like lived out in real life. Their vows included promises like “Should sorrow come your way, I vow to be the shoulder you can lean on and as you lean on me I vow to lift you up with love and encouragement.” and “You are precious to me. All the riches in the world cant buy the love I have for you.” Again… wonderfulness. It was so so romantic. I hope you and see that through these images and you will join us in wishing them well in their new voyage into marriage!

Brittany and Jason’s Sandbridge Virginia Wedding

We met Brittany via skype one night and she stole our hearts. It wasn’t hard to imagine how Jason loved her so much. We were smitten ourselves!! Their wedding was a lot like ours, with a small guest list, a beach house in the south, and a close family kind of vibe. We felt right at home. Numerous times throughout the day, Brittany would say “this is exactly how I dreamed it would be” and “that is exactly what i wanted” and “i love it!!” It was so nice to be around a bride who loved her day and all the details. She was just so happy.

Their ceremony was ridiculously romantic. I swear that the vows were some of the most epic we have ever heard. Everyone was crying! These two….. meant to be. We barely gave them any direction through the couple photos. They just couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. See if you can find the one when I mentioned to Brittany that she should just give her husband a kiss. She screamed she was so happy to be finally married! I love that moment at every wedding when they can finally call each other husband and wife. They danced the night away under the stars and lights. It was exactly like she dreamed… and she has good dreams it seems.

Josie and Luke’s Commander’s Mansion Wedding in Watertown, MA

Josie and Luke’s wedding day was a rainy one. That did not stop the fun at all though! Luckily they had chosen the perfect venue for a day like that at the Commander’s Mansion in Watertown, MA. It actually made the day feel even cozier and set a mood for focus and intention. The surroundings were beautiful and the details they chose to set the room with were so so pretty. These two have been together since high school so it was a long awaited day. Josie looked like a knockout and took Luke’s breath away. He closed his eyes as she walked down the aisle because it was all to much… in a good way. It was so sweet to watch. (There were a lot of tears as you might imagine). One of their friends is a club DJ so the music was outta control. We wanted to dance the night away with them! It was a perfect farewell to Boston for us since we drove all the way to NC through the night after this wedding.

Catherine and Rafael’s Quincy MA Wedding

When I think about Catherine and Rafael’s wedding, the words “fun, red lipstick, true love, preciousness, and dance party” all come to mind. That should be enough to get you excited for the photos I would think!

The love that Catherine and Rafael have for one another is that kind that you can feel. It makes you want to hug your own spouse closer and cherish your own relationship. It is a testament and I loved witness it become marriage. I got to be with Catherine and her father as they waited to walk down the aisle, and it’s moments like that I feel like my privilege on a wedding day is precious. It was so touching as the prayed together moments before she was to become a wife. When Rafael saw her for the first time, the room was electric. It was truly one of wedding days filled with magic. With a wedding party of 20, we had quite the blast hanging out with all of them on the beach and they were just plain fun! After prayers and toasts, tears of joy and formal dances, the party continued into the night… the dance floor literally bouncing up and down from the jumping. When Katy Perry came on everybody screamed and the dance party was on. These are my kind of people!

Grove Park Inn Wedding in Asheville, NC

These two were married at the Grove Park Inn, in Asheville NC.  It was a wedding full of their dearest family and friends and lots charm. The bride got ready with her two bridesmaids who were some of the biggest supports I have ever seen. They had this girls back! Even in the fact of an almost hour long buttoning process for the dress itself… yes. The dress fit perfectly but those little loops for the buttons may have been the wrong size button loops. I swear it was like threading a needle for each one AND a crochet hook was no help. She even went to her first look without all the buttons complete. She wanted to see her man… buttons or no buttons!

Their first look was precious, especially because of how she looked at him the whole time. She was beyond enamoured with him. It was a joy to witness. Afterwards we feverishly finished the buttons before their ceremony overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was a breath-taking view! I wish I could transport all of you there right now for a look! What followed was a fun reception with hilarious toasts, a rowdy photo booth and tasty treats. All in all… a great wedding to be a part of. We have the best job.
