The day of Dana and Nick’s Longlook Farm wedding in New Hampshire, a HUGE thunderstorm rolled across the state. Dan and I were eating our pre-wedding lunch when the sky opened up and poured down rain by the bucketful. When we arrived though, the whole place just shined like it had just had a good bath… because it had! Thanks to that thunderstorm, we even got a big old rainbow to bless the day.
They both got ready at the cabin on-site and then had a first look full of tears, kisses, hugs, and laughs. We took a lot of the family and wedding party photos beforehand to make room for partying on the other end of the day. A music and love filled ceremony on the lawn lead into cocktails and appetizers. The barn held the dinner and dancing.
A few of my favorite moments from this day (and there are a lot) are as follows:
- Dana singing Nick a couple of special songs during the reception since she is, in fact, a professional singer. So good.
- The rainbow. Obviously.
- Sparklers, a Campfire, and SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM.
- And…. of course… the last song antics, which we will never ever forget. Dana and her sister Olivia, climbing into the rafters. Dancing and singing till the end. #unforgettable
