Before you dig into these, I want you to google maps North Haven Maine. It’s in the middle of the Penobscot Bay but feels like a world away from everywhere else. It has a super specific vibe about it and therefore, no matter what, it always feels special to be there. Abby and Eric decided to get married on North Haven because they love the magic there too. They live in LA but convinced their dearest and dearest to make the very long trip, via airplanes, trains, cars, and a ferry, to this island. Worth it? Obvi.
So many details went into this celebration, with so many things holding great meaning to these two. I loved how the incorporated to many meaningful items, songs, events, decorations, food, etc, into their wedding day. Nothing wasn’t considered and/or chosen without the utmost care. My favorite part of the day was their first dance actually. There wasn’t anything super fancy-shmancy about it but it was one of the clearest parts of the day where we could all feeeeeeel and see their love for one another. It was that good. At the end of the night, they had an open invite to all the islanders if they wanted to crash the party too. Lots of locals showed up and made the dance party even more fun! How cool is that you guys?
